Job summary

Aspen Dental is seeking a Dental Assistant to support clinicians and patients, with training provided and opportunities for growth. You will assist in procedures, take x-rays, prepare and sterilize equipment, and help manage patient flow while ensuring high standards of infection control.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Active license/registration/permit as required by state; X-ray certification if required.

Responsibilities

• Assist during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Take dental x-rays.
• Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment.
• Execute patient handoffs and monitor patient flow.
• Manage infection control – sterilize instruments and equipment.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene strategies.
• Complete denture relines and temporary crowns.
• Perform impressions and bite registrations.
• Perform digital intraoral scans.
• Support patient charting for doctors.
• Handle various office tasks and collaborate with team.
