Aspen Dental is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our team. You will assist during a variety of treatment procedures, take dental x-rays, set up and breakdown operatory, and support patient care with compassion and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Active license/permit as required by state; include x-ray certification if needed.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with dental team to provide patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assist during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Take dental x-rays.
• Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment.
• Execute patient handoffs and monitor patient flow within the practice.
• Manage infection control – prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
• Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain good oral health.
• Complete denture soft relines and manufacture temporary crowns.
• Perform quality impressions and bite registrations.
• Perform digital intraoral scans.
• Support patient charting for doctors.
• Perform various office tasks as necessary.
• Collaborate with practice team to ensure optimum patient satisfaction.
