The ideal candidate has a certified dental assistant program or equivalent experience, X-ray certification, and a commitment to ongoing training in OSHA/HIPAA/CPR and infection control. Flexible scheduling and modern office technology are offered to support professional development.

Qualifications

• Completion of a one-year certified dental assistant program or six months on-the-job experience with documentation.
• X-Ray certification is required; Nitrous Oxide certification is highly recommended.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• OSHA, HIPAA, CPR and infection control training must be kept current by law.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dental team with patient care and procedures in a team-based office.
• Support the office staff with treatment and patient flow.
• Maintain infection control protocols and safety standards throughout the day.
