Normandy Lake Dentistry is seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join a fast-paced, patient-focused practice in Jacksonville. You will be chairside across a wide range of procedures, manage patient flow, and help keep rooms ready with instruments and materials prepared.

The ideal candidate has a Dental Assisting degree, current X-ray certification, and at least two years of dental assisting experience in a digital office environment. We value energy, organization, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Dental Assisting degree required.
• Current X-ray certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of dental assisting experience.
• Experience with digital X-rays, scanners, and charting systems.
• Strong organization and multitasking abilities.
• Clear, professional communication with patients and teammates.

Responsibilities

• Assist chairside across a wide variety of dental procedures.
• Maintain efficient patient flow and support smooth clinical operations.
• Prepare treatment rooms and ensure instruments and materials are ready.
• Take digital X-rays and assist with scanning as needed.
• Provide excellent patient support by explaining procedures and calming nerves.
• Ensure infection control and sterilization standards are followed.
• Participate in the morning huddle and collaborate with the team daily.
• Support charting and assist with documentation as needed.
• Help create an exceptional experience for every patient, every visit.
• Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to the team culture.
