Advanced Dental Care of Mandarin is seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant in Jacksonville, FL to support the clinical team and provide exceptional patient care in a patient-centered practice.

You will prepare treatment rooms, assist with radiography, maintain study models, and help manage emergencies with CPR certified readiness, while ensuring infection control and patient confidentiality in a modern office setting.

Qualifications

• Completion of a one-year certified dental assistant program or equivalent experience.
• Six months on-the-job experience (with supporting documentation).
• X-Ray certification.
• Nitrous Oxide certification is highly recommended.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Annual OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and infection control training as required by law.

Responsabilités

• Clinical Support: Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures.
• Patient Care: Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Radiography & Diagnostics: Take and develop X-rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow workplace regulations.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including scheduling and patient intake (if needed).
• Help dentist manage dental and medical emergencies by maintaining CPR certification, emergency drug and oxygen supply, and emergency telephone directory.
