Qualifications
- 1+ years proven experience as dental assistant
- Fast-paced oral surgery experience required
- Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
- Understanding of health & safety regulations
- Ability to perform regulated non-surgical tasks
Responsibilities
- Greet patients and ensure a warm welcome
- Prepare patients for treatment and ensure comfort
- Set up instruments, equipment, and supplies
- Sterilize instruments per regulations
- Assist dentist in four-handed dentistry
- Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
- Keep the treatment room clean and stocked
- Schedule appointments and follow-ups
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Support with payment procedures
