Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian Queens is seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join a fast-paced, patient-focused dental team. You will assist Dentists and Residents, prepare instruments, and maintain sterile fields while ensuring patient comfort and safety in a busy clinic.

This full-time, on-site role requires a dental assistant program or 2 years' related experience, knowledge of digital radiography, and proficiency with Windows-based systems.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate from dental assistant training program or 2 years related experience.
• Experience with digital radiography.
• Computer proficiency with Windows-based applications.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to operate standard office equipment.
• Dental front office experience required.

Responsibilities

• AssistDentists and Dental Residents with clinical procedures.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments; maintain sterile fields.
• Keep oral operative areas clear during procedures.
• Greet and seat patients promptly; obtain medical history.
• Take patient vital signs as needed.
