Qualifications

• Knowledge of dental procedures and techniques needed to diagnose and treat diseases of the oral cavity, treatment alternatives, drug interactions, preventive health measures and sterilization/disinfection procedures.
• Reading comprehension and understanding of work-related documents.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and convey information effectively.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and speech.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients with courtesy and respect and verify patient identification.
• Assist with 4-handed dentistry in restorative and surgical treatment.
• Expose digital or manual radiographs and process them.
• Maintain and complete dental patient records in EagleSoft, HMS and paper chart.
• Perform infection control and operatory setup/breakdown daily.
