Job summary

Aspen Dental is hiring an Entry-Level Dental Assistant in Cedar Rapids, IA. No dental experience or certification required. You’ll receive paid, hands-on training through our DANB partnership and a clear path to becoming a CDA while supporting a community-focused team.

Salary ranges from $18 to $22 per hour with full-time opportunities. We offer paid DANB training, radiology certification, PTO/holidays, health/vision/401(k), and continuing education benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Obtain radiology and safety certification within state requirements.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for patient rapport.

Responsibilities

• Assist during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment.
• Manage infection control – prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
• Supports patient charting for Doctors.
• Perform various office tasks as necessary.
• Collaborate with other members of the dental team to provide exceptional patient care.

As an Entry‑Level Dental Assistant, you’ll get paid, hands‑on training through our partnership with the Dental Assisting National Board (DANB) and a clear path toward becoming a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) — all while working alongside a team that helps patients in your community every day.

Salary: $18 - $22 / hour

Job Type: Full‑Time

Schedule: Varies by independently owned and operated location; part‑time, full‑time, and flexible scheduling available*

What You’ll Do Day-to-Day:

• Assist during a variety of treatment procedures
• Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment
• Manage infection control – prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
• Supports patient charting for Doctors
• Perform various office tasks as necessary
• Collaborate with other members of the dental team to provide exceptional patient care

Qualifications:
