Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current radiography certification required.
• Dental Assistant certification as required by state, or ability to become certified.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Nitrous oxide/oxygen analgesia certification preferred.
• Annual OSHA, HIPAA and Infection Control training.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional chair-side patient care and support the doctor during procedures.
• Take, develop and mount radiographs of high quality.
• Prepare operatory and sterilize equipment per guidelines.
• Review patient charts and log health history during exams.
• Educate patients and address questions or concerns.
• Assist front office with scheduling follow-ups and tracking lab cases.
• Monitor dental supplies and order as directed.
• Promote Sonrava services and products.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and safety regulations.
