Job summary

Adventure Dental, Vision, & Orthodontics in Denver, CO is seeking a Dental Assistant - EDDA/EFDA to support the dentist and hygienist in providing high quality and compassionate care to all patients. The role reports to the Lead Dental Assistant.

Pay range: $20-$31/hr with bonus opportunities. Responsibilities include educating patients on oral health, sterilizing instruments per OSHA standards, documenting patient records, and keeping the practice clean and inviting for underserved children.

Qualifications

• Radiology education and training that meets state requirements.
• Active EDDA/EFDA certification or registration.
• Current BLS CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Create a friendly relationship with patients and parents and educate them on good oral health.
• Organize and sterilize dental instruments and workstations per OSHA standards.
• Provide clear, effective, and encouraging oral hygiene instructions.
• Collect and document clear, concise, and accurate patient records.
• Ensure practice is clean and presentable to patients to include cleaning restrooms, patient lobby, mopping, vacuuming, dusting etc.
• Participate in other duties that support the mission of providing high-quality and compassionate dental, vision, and orthodontic services to underserved children.

Adventure Dental, Vision, & Orthodontics in Denver, CO, is currently seeking a Dental Assistant - EDDA/EFDA to support the dentist and hygienist in providing high quality and compassionate care to all patients. This position will report to the Lead Dental Assistant.

Pay range: $20-$31/hr (PLUS BONUS OPPORTUNITY)

Job Responsibilities

• Create a friendly relationship with patients and parents and educate them on good oral health
• Organize and sterilize dental instruments and workstations per OSHA standards
• Provide clear, effective, and encouraging oral hygiene instructions
• Collect and document clear, concise, and accurate patient records
• Ensure practice is clean and presentable to patients to include cleaning restrooms, patient lobby, mopping, vacuuming, dusting etc.
• Participate in other duties that support the mission of providing high-quality and compassionate dental, vision, and orthodontic services to underserved children

Job Qualifications

• Radiology education and training that meets state requirements
• Active EDDA/EFDA certification or registration
• Strong interpersonal skills, including a friendly outgoing demeanor and the ability to actively listen to patients and parents
• Ability to multi-task and complete dental tasks correctly and in a timely manner
• Knowledge of e-Clinical Works a plus
• Previous experience working in a dental office preferred
• Current BLS CPR certification
