Job summary

Adventure Dental, Vision, & Orthodontics in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a Dental Assistant (EDDA/EFDA) to support dentists and hygienists in delivering high-quality patient care. The role reports to the Lead Dental Assistant and offers a full-time schedule with a pay range of $27-$32 per hour, plus monthly bonus opportunities and PTO.

Responsibilities include educating patients, sterilizing instruments per OSHA standards, documenting patient records, and maintaining a clean, welcoming practice

Qualifications

• Radiology education and training that meets state requirements.
• Active EDDA/EFDA certification or registration.
• Strong interpersonal skills and friendly demeanor.
• Ability to multi-task and complete dental tasks correctly and in a timely manner.
• Knowledge of e-Clinical Works a plus.
• Previous experience working in a dental office preferred.
• Current BLS CPR certification.

• Create a friendly relationship with patients and parents and educate them on good oral health.
• Organize and sterilize dental instruments and workstations per OSHA standards.
• Provide clear, effective, and encouraging oral hygiene instructions.
• Collect and document clear, concise, and accurate patient records.
• Ensure practice is clean and presentable to patients to include cleaning restrooms, patient lobby, mopping, vacuuming, dusting etc.
• Participate in other duties that support the mission of providing high-quality and compassionate dental, vision, and orthodontic services to underserved children.
