Job summary

Kids for the Future is seeking a full-time dental assistant to join a dedicated team of oral surgery professionals. You will work across our Fort Wayne and Warsaw offices, assisting surgeons, taking digital radiographs, and supporting infection control and patient care.

The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, teamwork, and a solid work ethic, with a High School Diploma or GED and dental assisting program completion. Indiana radiographer license is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of accredited dental assisting program preferred.
• Certified Dental Assistant preferred; Indiana Radiographer license required.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Basic computer skills required; excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the surgeon during a variety of surgical procedures.
• Set up and tear down operations.
• Take digital dental radiographs.
• Manage infection control—prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
• Provide patients with post-op instructions following procedures.
• Perform other office tasks as necessary.
• Travel to Fort Wayne and Warsaw offices as needed.
