Seaborn Health Care Inc. seeks a Dental Assistant for the FCI Three Rivers TX facility. The incumbent will support Dental Officers across restorative, surgical, and preventive services, prepare instruments, manage records, and ensure patient safety in a correctional setting.

Responsibilities include data entry, patient preparation, and education on oral health. The role requires specialty training, radiology safety knowledge, CPR certification, and bilingual communication.

Competenze

• Specialty training from a licensed dentist or accredited Dental Assistant school.
• Training must include dental radiology and radiology safety.
• CPR certification in accordance with Red Cross or Heart Association.
• Bilingual oral communication desired.
• Experience in a clinical correctional setting is desirable.

Mansioni

• Assist Dental Officer in restorative, oral surgery, periodontics, prosthetics, and exams.
• Retrieve and escort patients to dental sections; prepare patients for dental care.
• Prepare instruments, materials, and medications; pass instruments and retract tissues.
• Maintain patient records, schedule follow-ups, and ensure confidentiality.
• Prepare treatment rooms, assist in emergencies, and provide dental health education.
• Perform prophylaxis, charting, and preparation for periodontal procedures.
• Sterilize instruments and inspect equipment; document treatment records.
