Responsibilities

• Takes and records patient health history and vital signs; performs radiography and dental laboratory procedures.
• Provides assistance in preventive, periodontic, restorative, endodontic, prosthodontic, and oral surgery procedures; records observations and data.
• Maintains clinic orderliness and cleanliness; sterilizes and disinfects instruments; manages inventory of instruments and hazardous materials.
• Operates data entry systems for daily sick call requests and appointment scheduling; prepares impressions for the Dental Laboratory.
• Receives, stores, distributes, and maintains inventory for the dental department; handles requisitions and reports discrepancies.
• Maintains inventory of all dental equipment; adheres to internal controls and reporting structures.
