Job summary
Amergis Healthcare Staffing in Georgetown, DE is seeking a Dental Assistant for a contract - full time position.
You will support the dentist during patient care, prepare the room and dental tools, complete intake paperwork, update patient records, sterilize and organize tools, and assist during procedures.
Minimum requirements include a current license/certificate in the state, CPR if applicable, TB screening, and being at least 18 years old.
Qualifications
- Current License/Certificate within state of practice is required.
- One year experience as Dental Assistant preferred.
- Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
- Current CPR if applicable.
- TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
- Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
Responsibilities
- Assist dentist during patient care and prepare treatment rooms.
- Sterilize and organize dental tools and equipment.
- Complete intake paperwork and update patient records.
- Assist during dental procedures as needed.
