Responsibilities

Prepare treatment rooms and assist the dentist during procedures (e.g., fillings, extractions, crowns, root canals).
Hand instruments to the dentist and anticipate procedural needs.
Ensure patient comfort before, during, and after treatment.
Greet and prepare patients for treatment.
Review medical histories and update patient records.
Provide post-procedure instructions and oral hygiene education.
Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment according to OSHA and CDC guidelines.
Organize and maintain dental supplies and instruments.
Ensure operatory cleanliness and readiness between appointments.
