Delight Family Dental in Elgin, IL is seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our growing practice. You will support the dental team, prepare operatory rooms, take x-rays, record vital signs, and assist with four-handed dentistry.

The role requires proven experience, knowledge of aseptic technique and infection control, strong communication, and reliability. Bilingual Spanish is required; on-the-job training and opportunities for advancement are offered.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Dental Assistant.
• Knowledge of dental assisting techniques, including aseptic technique and infection control practices.
• Strong communication skills to interact with patients and staff.
• Ability to multitask and be a cooperative team player.

Responsibilities

• Setting up operatory rooms, instruments and tray setups for dental procedures.
• Take good quality diagnostic x-rays.
• Take and record vital signs of patients prior to treatment.
• Assist the dentist during examinations and all treatment procedures, including four-handed dentistry techniques.
• Record patient information accurately.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment.
• Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
• Restocking and organizing rooms
• Making patients feel comfortable before, during, and after dental treatment.
• Assist with administrative tasks as needed, including scheduling appointments and managing patient records.
