Job summary

Smile Brands Inc. in Wisconsin is seeking a Dental Assistant to support dentists and the clinical team, preparing patients, rooms, instruments and equipment for procedures while ensuring patient comfort and safety.

You’ll take X-rays when permitted, educate patients on oral hygiene, maintain infection control, and collaborate with the team to deliver high-quality care in a friendly, patient-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Meet all state-specific dental assistant credentialing requirements for duties performed.
• Current CPR/BLS certification or ability to obtain before start date.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Positive, dependable and willing-to-learn attitude.
• Previous dental assisting experience preferred, but may be considered for new grads.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients, treatment rooms, instruments and equipment for dental procedures.
• Assist dentists and specialists during examinations and dental procedures.
• Take and prepare dental X-rays and other diagnostic records as permitted by state regulations.
• Provide patients with clear, compassionate guidance on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Maintain infection control, sterilization, and safety standards.
• Prepare and maintain dental instruments and supplies.
• Support an efficient, organized clinical environment.
• Help create a welcoming, comfortable experience for every patient.
• Work collaboratively with the entire dental team to deliver exceptional care.
