Job summary

Noble Community Clinics in Stevens Point, WI is seeking a Dental Assistant to support the dentist and patients, creating a relaxed, welcoming environment and a positive experience for patients.

You will assist with patient preparation, explain procedures, manage scheduling and records, ensure instruments are sterilized, and maintain a clean operatory. A High School Diploma or equivalent and 1+ year of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• A minimum of 1 years’ experience working as a Dental Assistant is desired.
• Graduation from a Dental Assistant training program/technical school. Additional training may substitute for required experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages and backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Support both the dentist and patients with a variety of tasks.
• Assist with patient preparation, providing comfort and explaining procedures.
• Perform administrative tasks including scheduling appointments and managing patient records.
• Ensure instruments are properly sterilized, and that the treatment area is clean and organized.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post treatment care.
• Expose and develop diagnostic dental x-rays and perform routing maintenance and cleaning of dental operatory equipment.
