First Flight Health Centers seeks a dental assistant to support dentists and hygienists in delivering quality care to Dayton patients. You will seat patients, prepare operatory, take radiographs, and ensure supplies and sterilization are up to standard.

You must have Ohio Radiographic permit or eligibility, be able to work with supervision, and communicate effectively with patients. The role emphasizes privacy and HIPAA compliance, teamwork with the dental and medical staff, and delivering

Formación

• Graduate from high school or equivalent.
• Completion of a dental assistant program.
• Ohio State Dental Radiography permit or eligibility, with three years of experience.

Responsabilidades

• Assist dentist and hygienist under supervision.
• Seat, drape, and prepare patients for treatment.
• Take radiographs and maintain Radiation Permit.
• Ensure instruments and supplies are ready for each procedure.
• Sterilize instruments and monitor sterilization.
• Chart conditions and medical history changes.
• Record vital signs during visits.
• Explain procedures and treatment plans to patients.
