GEO Corrections & Detentions is seeking a Dental Assistant to support clinical operations in a correctional health setting. You will sterilize instruments, assist with chair-side procedures, and perform dental radiography while maintaining OSHA-compliant standards.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of an accredited dental assistant program, and state licensure or certification where applicable. US citizenship and 21+ years of age are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience as a Dental Assistant preferred.
• Graduate from an accredited dental assistant program and current license or certification to practice in the state is required.

Responsabilités

• Sterilize and lay out dental tools and instruments before procedures.
• Assist with chair-side procedures, pass instruments, suction, mix materials.
• Take intra-oral and extra-oral x-rays and develop and mount x-ray films.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dental clinic according to OSHA standards.
• Prepare patient schedules and escort officer coordination.
