Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Graduate from accredited dental assistant program with current license where applicable.
• Minimum 1 year dental assistant experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Sterilize and lay out dental tools before procedures.
• Assist chair-side during procedures and pass instruments.
• Take intra-oral and extra-oral x‑rays.
• Develop and mount x-ray films.
• Maintain cleanliness and OSHA compliance in the clinic.
• Perform dental screenings and schedule patient appointments.
• Maintain dental charts and records.
• Prepare patient schedules for escort officer.
• Maintain compliance with accreditation standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
