LOCATED IN LINCOLN, NE, University of Nebraska Medical Center is seeking a dental assistant to perform chairside duties within the College of Dentistry. The role supports dental procedures, patient care, and instrument sterilization under supervision.

Candidates should have six months post-high school education/experience related to dentistry and must be able to obtain a dental assistant certificate within one year. High school education is acceptable with relevant training.

Qualifications

• Will consider a minimum of six months post high school education/experience related to Dentistry.
• Certification as a dental assistant or ability to obtain a dental assistant certificate within one year of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Perform chairside assistance in all dental treatment procedures in the assigned department of the College of Dentistry or as assigned by Supervisor.
• Support clinicians with patient preparation, instrument handling, and maintaining sterile technique.
