Charlotte Dentistry® is hiring a full-time Dental Assistant to support dentists and hygienists in Charlotte, NC. The role includes chairside assistance, room setup, instrument sterilization, and patient comfort management to ensure smooth patient flow during procedures.

You will assist with cleanings, restorations, and orthodontic treatments, gather patient information, and process radiographs as permitted, delivering clear post-treatment instructions and maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited dental assisting program or equivalent experience preferred.
• Current dental assistant certification and radiography certification (as required by North Carolina) preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical setting.
• Demonstrated reliability, attention to detail, and commitment to patient-centered care.

Responsabilités

• Provide chairside support during clinical procedures.
• Prepare treatment rooms and organize dental instruments.
• Follow sterilization and infection control protocols.
• Assist with cleanings, restorations, and orthodontic treatments.
• Gather and update patient information and medical histories.
• Take and process dental radiographs as permitted; provide post-treatment instructions.
