Job summary

OHSU's School of Dentistry in Portland, OR is seeking a Dental Assistant for full-time, Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm. Under supervision of a licensed dentist, you will assist clinicians, support dental students, and manage patient records and appointments. Competitive benefits and generous retention bonuses apply.

Qualifications include a completed Dental Assistant training program or one year of chair side experience, radiological proficiency, and BLS. Prior experience within 5 years is preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of an approved Dental Assistant training program.
• Certification by the Oregon State Board of Dentistry for Radiological Proficiency.
• BLS from AHA required; onboarding course during onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Chair side dental support for dentists, dental students and hygienists.
• Provide educational support to dental students in four-handed dentistry techniques.
• Perform clinical support and administrative tasks including EHR entries and appointment duties.
