University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in Portland, Oregon is seeking a Dental Assistant to support multiple departments within the DMD Clinic on a full-time basis.

The role requires completion of an approved training program, radiology certification, BLS, and recent chair-side experience, with a Monday–Friday schedule and standard business hours.

Qualificações

• Completion of an approved Dental Assistant training program or equivalent.
• One year of experience as a chair side Dental Assistant.
• Certification by the Oregon State Board of Dentistry for Radiological Proficiency required.
• BLS from AHA required; onboarding training during onboarding.
• Must have worked as a dental assistant within the last 5 years.

Function/Duties of Position

This Dental Assistant position supports multiple departments within the School of Dentistry based upon clinical needs. The position requires flexibility and willingness to adapt to new situations and processes based upon the specific department that is being supported for each shift.

We are recruiting for 5 open positions at this time.

Required Qualifications

• Completion of an approved Dental Assistant training program OR


• One year of experience as a chair side Dental Assistant


• Certification by the Oregon State Board of Dentistry for Radiological Proficiency required for all positions


• BLS from AHA required. New hires will be enrolled in an OHSU training course and will be required to complete the course during the onboarding process


• Must have worked as a dental assistant within the last 5 years
