Qualifications

• High School/GED or better – required.
• Must have current, valid Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) registration or be eligible to apply for and receive a current RDA license within the first year.
• Must complete Continuing Education requirement on renewal of license/Certificate (TSBDE).
• Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS), American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provide chair-side assistance for dental procedures and radiological work.
• Sterilize and organize dental equipment and operatories per protocols.
• Monitor and maintain dental inventory and radiographic equipment.
• Administer dental radiographs and observe radiation safety procedures.
• Support practice improvement activities and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Deliver excellent customer service to patients via in-person, phone, or fax.
• Assist front desk with scheduling, recall, and confirmations.
• Support hygienists by preparing patients and rooms.
• Maintain daily maintenance logs and cleanliness of operatories.
• Manage dental lab slips and ensure timely lab case delivery.
