Waterway Dental Care seeks a Dental Assistant to join a collaborative team in Myrtle Beach. You’ll greet patients, review health histories, capture x-rays with iTero and other imaging, and provide four-handed chairside support to supported dentists.

Role requires dental assistant and x-ray certifications as needed by state, strong communication, and PHI protection. Dentrix experience preferred in a fast-paced practice with ongoing training.

Competenze

• Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Experience in fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
• If required under state law, dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• HIPAA training and PHI protection required.

Mansioni

• Greet and welcome patients and educate throughout treatment.
• Review health history to provide quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and diagnostic assessments.
• Provide chairside assistance to dentists during procedures.
• Utilize Dentrix for scheduling and record-keeping.
• Prepare treatment room following safety protocols.
• Manage supply and inventory levels and place orders.
• Collaborate with team to maximize office workflow.
