Job summary

Neighborcare Health is seeking a Dental Assistant in Seattle, WA. This key team member will provide chairside support and ensure the preparation of dental instruments for patient care. Candidates should have a valid Washington State Dental Assistant license and BLS Certification.

Expect to take digital x-rays, assist patients, and perform routine tasks with an emphasis on teamwork and patient care. Competitive wages range from $26.55 to $33.39 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 280 hours chairside dental assisting experience.
• Completion of an accredited Dental Assistant program preferred.
• 1 year of dental assisting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide chair side assistance by preparing operatory and instruments.
• Interview patients and collect vital signs.
• Perform fluoride treatments and take digital x-rays.
• Prepare clinic for next day's work schedule.
• Communicate with dental provider(s) about daily schedules.

Skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced and complex health care environment

Knowledge of dental terminology

Ability to work respectfully with diverse individuals

Proficient with computers

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Current Washington State Dental Assistant license

BLS Certification
