Job summary

Neighborcare Health in Seattle, WA is hiring a Dental Assistant to provide chairside support for dentists and dental hygienists. The role splits between Pacific Tower and Georgetown clinics, requiring strong asepsis, radiography, and patient comfort skills.

The successful candidate will have a WA Dental Assistant license, a high school diploma, and BLS certification, with at least 280 hours of chairside experience. This is a full‑time, on‑site position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• A current Washington State Department of Health Dental Assistant license is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide chair side assistance by preparing operatory, including cleaning, disinfection, setting up instruments, materials and anesthetic for scheduled procedures.
• Interview patient to determine reason for visit and collect vital signs.
• Place sealants, perform fluoride treatments, coronal polish, and oral hygiene instruction.
• Take digital x-rays and intraoral photos, plus digital scans.
• Take and pour impressions; fabricate provisional crowns; pass instruments with aseptic technique.
