Qualifications

• Alternative: 4-year HS diploma with 300–600 internship hours and chairside duties; or 1 year as Dental Assistant performing chairside tasks.
• Combination of education and experience meeting the above criteria. Each 100 internship hours equates to two months of experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentist at chairside during procedures.
• Take and upload dental imaging.
• Prepare dental instruments for sterilization.
