Urban Health Plan in Bronx, NY is hiring Dental Assistants to support the Dental Department. You will provide chairside assistance, prepare treatment rooms and trays, take digital X-rays, and help dentists deliver high quality care.

The role requires a Dental Assistant Certificate, a HS diploma, and bilingual English/Spanish. Full‑time, weekdays, with benefits including health insurance, 401(k), and paid time off.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Dental Assistant Certificate required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required.
• 1 year of related experience in a dental setting with four-handed dentistry, preferred.
• Knowledge of Dental Software and EHR (Dentrix) highly desired.
• Ability to adhere to National Patient Safety Goals.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Dentist with routine procedures.
• Prepares treatment room and tray setups for dental provider.
• Takes digital X-rays and impressions.
• Orders dental supplies and maintains inventory.
• Completes infection control sterilization of all equipment and instruments.
• Schedules appointments and maintains reception area as required.
• Distributes patient educational materials as needed.
