Responsibilities

• Sterilizes instruments and equipment for each patient and prepares them for dentist use.
• Assists during procedures, hands instruments, takes x-rays and impressions as directed.
• Maintains patient records and dental histories, and records information for the dentist.
• Advises patients on dental care and helps them feel comfortable before, during, and after treatment.
• Handles scheduling, billing, and office tasks as needed.
• Attends staff meetings and training as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
