DentalWorks in Chicago is seeking a Dental Assistant dedicated to exceptional patient care and precise clinical support. You will assist doctors, take radiographs, prepare operatorys, and ensure smooth patient flow while maintaining HIPAA compliance.

The role requires radiography certification and a high school diploma, with state-specific DA certification and CPR preferred. The position emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and ongoing safety training.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Current radiography certification is required.
• Dental Assistant certification, as required by state, or ability to become certified.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Current certification to monitor Nitrous Oxide/Oxygen Analgesia preferred.
• Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA and Infection Control training.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service with excellent chair-side manner, keeping the patient the #1 priority.
• Be present, engaged and ready to work at all assigned shift times.
• Assist doctors with dental procedures and anticipate their needs.
• Take, develop and mount accurate radiographs.
• Review patient charts and log data during exams.
• Prepare and sterilize equipment and operatory per procedures.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Follow OSHA safety policies and BBP regulations.
• Complete Learning Management System requirements.
