Job summary

Allington Dental in Lubbock, TX, is hiring a Full-time Dental Assistant to join our care team. Mon-Sat schedule, 32 hours weekly; RDA certification preferred and bilingual Spanish a plus. You will support clinicians, educate patients, and help maintain clinic readiness.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• X-ray certification preferred by state/regulations.
• CDA credentials preferred where applicable.
• Bi-lingual Spanish is a plus depending on location.
• Operate with integrity and comply with regulations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality and compassionate care to every patient.
• Guide parents of minors and patients through our processes before treatment.
• Educate patients in oral hygiene and provide postoperative instructions.
• Take x-rays and save to patient charts where location allows.
• Prepare tray setups for dental procedures.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments, equipment, chairs and rooms.
• Assist staff with treatment including suctioning, retractors, and sutures.
• Pour, trim and polish impression casts; fabricate custom trays.
