Allington Dental and Braces in Texas seeks a FT Bilingual Dental Assistant to join our patient-centered team. You will support clinicians, prepare treatment rooms, take x-rays, and educate patients while adhering to safety and hygiene standards.

Requirements include Texas RDA licensure, CPR/BLS certification, HS diploma/GED, and bilingual Spanish preferred. Location-based duties vary by clinic; compensation includes benefits and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• X-ray certification preferred per State practice.
• Certified Dental Assistant credentials preferred per State practice.

Responsabilités

• Deliver quality and compassionate care to every patient.
• Guide parents of minors and patients through our processes before treatment.
• Educate patients in oral hygiene instruction and provide postoperative instructions.
• Prepare patient for examination and treatment.
• Take X-rays and save to patient charts (location dependent).
• Ensure hygiene bay and operatory rooms are ready for use.
• Prepare tray setups for dental procedures.
• Mix amalgam, cement, pulp paste and prepare impression materials.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments, equipment, chairs and rooms.
• Assist dental staff with treatment: document patient info and treatment plans.
• Assist with suctioning, retractors, and sutures during procedures.
• Pour, trim and polish impression casts; fabricate custom trays.
