Heartland Dental is seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join Gaines View Dental Care in Athens, GA. You will support a brand-new office, deliver exceptional patient care, and help build a strong team culture from day one.

The role emphasizes four-handed chairside assistance, x-ray and imaging processing, Dentrix scheduling, and adherence to safety standards. If you have 2–3 years of dental experience and a team-first mindset, this is your opportunity.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of dental assistant experience
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Team-focused with a commitment to patient experience
• Familiarity with Dentrix software is a plus
• Excited about joining a brand-new office and building a strong team culture

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients from the start of their dental journey and support education throughout treatment
• Review patient health history to ensure quality care
• Take and process x-rays and diagnostic assessments (e.g., iTero 3D scanner, digital photography)
• Provide chairside assistance (four-handed dentistry) during a variety of procedures
• Utilize Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping
• Prepare treatment rooms with safety protocols per OSHA & CDC
• Manage supply and inventory levels and place/expedite orders as needed
• Partner with providers and team to implement Heartland Dental systems and maximize workflow
