Qualifications

  • Current Dental Assistant certification/license as required by Oregon state regulations.
  • Proven experience as a dental assistant in a clinical setting.
  • Current CPR/BLS certification.
  • Strong understanding of infection control and OSHA standards.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide chairside assistance during a full range of dental procedures, with emphasis on surgical procedures.
  • Prepare and maintain surgical and treatment rooms to exacting standards.
  • Sterilize and organize instruments and equipment with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Take and process dental radiographs and diagnostic images.
  • Prepare patients for procedures while ensuring comfort and understanding.
  • Assist with patient education regarding biologic and holistic treatment approaches.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough patient records.
  • Support phlebotomy procedures as needed for biologic testing and therapies.
  • Coordinate patient care and communicate effectively with the clinical team.
  • Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and safety standards.

  • Knowledge of biocompatible materials and their applications
  • Familiarity with systemic health connections to oral health
