ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide superior chair-side clinical support to Doctors, including charting, patient education, Operatory set-up, and clean-up.
- Manage patient flow; respond to changes, prioritize Operatory rooms for Doctors, and update Doctors on patient status.
- Greet patients in the reception area and introduce yourself personally.
- Take and process X-Rays.
- Perform patient hand-offs.
- Enter and update patient treatment plans in the company operational system as directed by the Doctor.
- Ensure patient needs are met and address any discrepancies in visits.
- Escort patients to check-out.
- Complete sterilization of equipment and Operatory.
- Monitor laboratory cases and prepare them for the next day.
- Maintain emergency kits, first aid supplies, emergency medications, and oxygen tanks.
- Follow maintenance schedules for equipment like processor, autoclave, and compressor weekly.
- Report and follow up on maintenance issues, including dental equipment and handpieces.
- Comply with OSHA regulations, MFSD safety requirements, HIPAA guidelines, CPR, X-ray certifications, and other relevant certifications.
REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS
- High School diploma or GED
- Minimum 1-year relevant industry experience
- Physical ability to walk, stand, talk, and update information on computer systems
- Background check required
- Bilingual in Spanish is required
- Willingness to travel between Carrollwood and Wesley Chapel locations
