St. Louis Pediatric Dentistry in Chesterfield, MO is seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our pediatric-focused team. You will support the dentist and clinical staff in delivering exceptional care and creating a positive experience for children and families.

The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and passionate about pediatric dentistry. Travel between up to four practice locations may be required to support patients and team needs.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in dental/medical setting preferred, but not required.
• Active dental assistant certification preferred, but not required.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly, patient-focused approach to working with children and families.

Responsabilités

• Assist the dentist during pediatric dental procedures and exams
• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials
• Take and process dental X-rays in compliance with applicable safety regulations
• Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
• Maintain infection control, sterilization, and OSHA compliance
• Support the clinical team with daily patient care and office operations
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management
