Job summary

One Community Health in Oregon is offering a Dental Assistant Apprentice program that pays to learn. The apprenticeship runs 12–14 months with 2,000 hours on-the-job and 297 hours of online learning, in Hood River or The Dalles clinics. No healthcare experience is required, and RHS exam is included.

You’ll start at $20/hour with bilingual differential opportunities. A path to certification is provided as part of the program.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 18 years of age or older


• Proof of High School Diploma or GED. Copy of Diploma, GED certificate or original/official transcript mailed in a sealed envelope from the school from an institution recognized in the U.S education system.


• If High School is outside of the U.S or Canada: Copy of high school or postsecondary diploma/transcript with graduation date. Copy of document translated into English. Original/official equivalency report in a sealed enveloped from the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services or the American Association of Collegiate registrars and Admissions Officers. DANB will return all original documents.

Compensation:

• Hourly/Non-Exempt: $20.00-20.75 per hour


• Bilingual Differential: Additionally, we offer $0.75 per hour as compensation for bilingual proficiency in both English and Spanish.
