centralozarks in Camdenton, Missouri is seeking a Dental Assistant/Access Coordinator responsible for patient interactions, assisting with dental procedures, and ensuring the organization of clinical areas.
The ideal candidate must have a GED or High School diploma, experience in dental settings is preferred, and must maintain CPR or BLS certification. This role requires adherence to HIPAA regulations and quality assurance standards.
The Dental Assistant/Access Coordinator is responsible for interacting with patients in person or on the phone in a professional, kind, and courteous manner. The role will be responsible for the accurate check-in/admissions of incoming patients for both medical and dental service lines. Assist the Dentist with dental procedures as instructed. Responsible for the care and maintenance of dental instruments and equipment. This role requires adherence to quality assurance guidelines and established productivity standards set for the position.
The Dental Assistant/Access Coordinator must have the ability to plan and organize assignments and be self-motivating. Must possess patience in dealing with all people in an accurate and positive manner.
GED or High School diploma. Previous experience working in a dental and/or medical office is desirable. Experience in dental assisting preferred. Expanded Functions preferred. Must be CPR or BLS certified or become certified during probationary period and maintain certification throughout employment with COMC.
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from all customers.
Ability to work with all accounting concepts.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This includes moderate physical effort consisting of occasionally lifting or moving over 35 pounds of weight.
To fulfill the responsibility of the position travel to all COMC locations will be required. Employee should have valid Missouri driver’s license. Overnight travel may also be required in specific incidences of training, conferences, etc.
