Central Ozarks Medical Center in Missouri is seeking an Access Coordinator to manage patient intake, scheduling, and front-desk operations within a healthcare setting.
The role requires strong customer service, data entry, and EMR proficiency, with emphasis on accuracy, compliance, and teamwork across departments.

The Access Coordinator must have the ability to plan and organize assignments and be self-motivating. Ability to multi-task and remain calm under pressure. Must possess patience in dealing with all people. Must have the ability to communicate effectively with patients, co-workers, vendors and all members of the public. Must be proficient with computers. Outgoing personality and outstanding customer service skills.
GED or High School diploma. Previous experience in a healthcare office setting desirable.
Ability to communicate clearly and respond to common inquiries or complaints from all customers. Fluency in the English language is required. Bilingual applicants encouraged to apply.
Ability to learn, navigate, and enter data into a computer software system. Proficient with Microsoft programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).
Balancing daily log and bank deposit slip.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This includes moderate physical effort consisting of prolonged sitting and occasionally lifting or moving over 35 pounds of weight.
To fulfill the responsibility for the position travel to all COMC locations may be required. Employee must have valid Missouri driver’s license and availability of a motor vehicle.
