Heartland Dental's East Rochester Family Dentistry is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our team in Rochester, NH. The role supports a Monday–Friday schedule with specific hours and competitive hourly pay based on experience.

You will work closely with clinicians, manage x-rays, patient education, and office workflow while ensuring patient comfort and safety. Qualifications include dental assisting certification and x-ray certification, familiarity with Dentrix, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment
• HIPAA training and PHI protection responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and orient them at the start of treatment
• Review health history to ensure quality care
• Take and process x-rays and other diagnostic assessments
• Provide chairside assistance during procedures
• Utilize Dentrix for scheduling and record-keeping
• Prepare treatment rooms following safety protocols (OSHA & CDC)
• Manage supplies and place orders
• Collaborate with dentists to maximize office workflow
