The Smile Centre Venice, a Heartland Dental Supported Practice, is seeking a Full-Time Dental Assistant in Venice, FL to join a patient‑focused team.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• State-issued Dental Assistant Permit & X-ray credentials required.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of dental assistant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients from the start of their dental journey.
• Review patient health history to ensure quality care.
• Take and process X-rays and other diagnostic assessments.
• Provide chairside assistance (four-handed dentistry) to dentists.
• Use Dentrix for scheduling and record-keeping.
• Prepare treatment rooms following OSHA and CDC guidelines.
• Manage supplies and place orders as needed.
• Collaborate with providers to implement Heartland Dental systems.
