The Smilist Dental in Gibbsboro, NJ is seeking a reliable Dental Assistant to join our team. The role is 2.5 days per week, 30 hours with pay for 36, offering a competitive hourly wage and a schedule that includes weekday and rotating weekend shifts.

Responsibilities include preparing patients and instruments, assisting doctors, and maintaining a clean, organized operatory. NJ x‑ray license required; RDA/CDA a plus but not mandatory. Competitive benefits available.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience as a Dental Assistant.
• Active NJ x-ray license.
• RDA/CDA a plus but not required.
• Knowledge of dental instruments, equipment and procedures.
• Dentrix experience preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and handle multiple tasks.
• Attention to detail and a positive attitude.

Responsabilités

• Keep patients focused on optimal treatment while addressing concerns and promoting the doctor’s qualities.
• Maintain a clean, sterile, and cheerful environment and assist doctors to enable efficient dental care.
• Escort patients to and from the front desk.
• Prepare tray setups for procedures and manage supply levels in each operatory; reorder as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
