Job summary

Mortenson Dental Partners in Omaha, NE is seeking a Dental Assistant 3 to join our team. This full-time position offers up to $24/hour based on experience and a 40-hour work week, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities include preparing treatment rooms, assisting with instruments, passing supplies, and documenting clinical notes. Required CPR/X-ray certification and EDDA/EFDA credentials, plus a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• Prepare the treatment room for patients.
• Provides instrumentation by sterilizing and delivering instruments to the treatment area; positioning instruments for the dentist's access, suctioning, and passing instrument. Remove temporary crown and cements.
• Place and remove dental dam, remove temporary crown and cements, fabricate temporary crowns - multi units, Prepare and assist with endodontic procedures.
• Completes Clinical notes before dismissing patients.

What We Are Looking for:

• CPR/X-ray certification
• Must possess a current and valid EDDA or EFDA Certificate (Except Indiana, Kentucky, Texas, and Utah)
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Strong knowledge of dental procedures, terminology, and equipment.
• Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
