Job summary

Summit-Dental-Health is looking for a skilled dental assistant to prepare treatment rooms and prepare instruments for dental procedures. You will position instruments for the dentist, assist with endodontic work, and ensure proper sterilization and patient comfort.

You will also place dental dams, fabricate temporary crowns for multi-unit cases, and complete clinical notes before patient dismissal. A CPR/X-ray certification and an EDDA/EFDA certificate are required, along with a high school

Qualifications

• CPR/X-ray certification is required.
• Must possess a current and valid EDDA or EFDA Certificate (Except Indiana, Kentucky, Texas, and Utah).
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of dental procedures, terminology, and equipment.
• Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the treatment room for patients.
• Provide instrumentation by sterilizing and delivering instruments; position instruments for the dentist; suction and pass instruments; remove temporary crowns and cements.
• Place and remove dental dam; fabricate temporary crowns; assist with endodontic procedures.
• Completes clinical notes before dismissing patients.

Your Role:

• Prepare the treatment room for patients
• Provides instrumentation by sterilizing and delivering instruments to the treatment area; positioning instruments for the dentist's access, suctioning, and passing instrument. Remove temporary crown and cements
• Place and remove dental dam, remove temporary crown and cements, fabricate temporary crowns - multi units, Prepare and assist with endodontic procedures
• Completes Clinical notes before dismissing patients

What We Are Looking for:

• CPR/X-ray certification
