Main St Dental in Buda, TX is growing and seeks a friendly, motivated Dental Assistant for a temporary assignment of about 12 weeks. Open to experienced assistants and newly registered RDAs, with schedule Monday–Thursday 8:30 am–5:00 pm.

You will chairside assist, welcome patients, prepare for treatments, sterilize instruments, and maintain records. Requirements include an active Texas dental assistant license and certification; 2+ years of clinical experience; knowledge of instruments and

Qualifications

Active Texas dental assistant license.
Dental Assistant training/school certification.
2+ years of dental assisting clinical experience.
Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods.
Understanding of health & safety regulations.
Experience with digital software.
Excellent interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Assist the Dentists chairside
Welcomes patients
Prepares patients for treatments or checkups ensuring comfort
Selection and setup of instrumentation, equipment and other dental materials as needed
Instrument sterilization according to regulations
Maintains accurate patient records
Lab tasks as instructed
Provide post-operative care instructions
Maintain clean and stocked operatories
